if you could know where you're going, you've gone

Hello new friends. Lovely to meet you all and I hope to get to know you all a lot more ♥

I haven't got a post set up saying anything major about myself so I thought that I'd just say - I'm Ella, 22, and I live in Perth, Australia. I work in childcare, and currently work just a shorter morning before I go home to study for my diploma (higher level of the same job essentially, but also it's uni entry) in the afternoon. I love it a lot and it's exhausting and rewarding all at the same time.

I'm trying to read more and get into swimming, but essentially at the moment it's a bit of a work / study / drawing / family (I live at home, two parents and a dog) and other minor hobbies juggle. I also help run a Girl Guide unit.

Something I had in my teens is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It's essentially complete exhausting, with 'brain fog' (unable to think clearly or straight about things), muscles pains and a batch of other things. It's thankfully not a bearer of my time and my life anymore, but sometimes shows up, and I'm apprihensive of keeping my study balenced as I know it's still there.

I'm also very fond of musicals so here is a batch of things that I like

Lea Salonga singing from Sunday in the Park with George (my favourite actress and favourite score put together)

Holding to the Ground - Falsettos
Move on - Sunday in the Park with George
Falsettos medley
Nézz rám / Valahol Európában
38 planes / somewhere in the middle of nowhere - come from away *this show is essentially the '9/12' story, set on the tiny Canadian island where 38 planes were redirected when airspace was shut down in us following 9/11 and the islanders opened up their homes and hearts to these people and took care of them for five days . One person who went to see this show said to the cast "thank you for giving me a different 9/11 story to the one I had - one of joy and hope" so if you have any interest in a story that focuses on the best of humanity and helping people through their hardest times and opening your heart up to people - especially considering what's going on in the world right now - I encourage you to check this gorgeous piece of art out it's stunning

And a little child who is cold is more painful than any breakdown of the heating system at 50° below zero. I've known cold and insecurity, but only the insecurity of others. - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Probably I will go on about musicals, places I'd like to visit, art and craft and work (childcare) and study, with interjections of what I fancy or makes me happier or dreary days.

all the joy to you :)

Long day today.

Anyway I have a job (temporarily) and I had a good Christmas :)

A really cute diary from mum and two friends for lunch with my family, so nice. I really enjoyed talking to them.

I'm still making snowglobes for my friends; they come New Year's Eve so I'll give those to them then.

I hope you had a very Merry Christmas lovelies, and a thoroughly wonderful new year to you too <3
